CeraVe's Eye Repair Cream is a sensible, low-drama option for the eye area, and it is worth being precise about what earns the 'repair' in the name. Niacinamide sits second in the list — a genuinely useful active for barrier support, redness and, over time, the look of tone — backed by the brand's ceramide-cholesterol complex, hyaluronic acid and glycerin. Around them are marine and botanical extracts (Chrysanthellum indicum, algae) that the brand associates with the look of dark circles and puffiness, though the evidence for those specific claims is much thinner than for the ceramide-and-niacinamide core. It is fragrance-free, non-greasy and does not sting, which matters more than most people expect in an eye product. The honest framing: this is a well-built moisturizer sized for the eye contour. It hydrates the thin skin around the eyes and can soften the look of dryness-related creping, but it will not erase dark circles caused by pigmentation, thin skin or hollowing, and it contains nothing strong enough to remodel wrinkles.
