Centella asiatica is one of the better-evidenced botanicals in skincare: its active compounds (madecassoside, asiaticoside and related triterpenes) have real support for calming inflammation and aiding skin repair, and SKIN1004 sources it from Madagascar, where growing conditions favour higher active content. Everything else in the bottle is simply there to deliver it — glycerin and butylene glycol for hydration, cellulose gum for texture, and a gentle preservative pair.
