UVMune 400 is arguably the most technically advanced sunscreen on the mass market, and the reason sits in one ingredient: Mexoryl 400 (methoxypropylamino cyclohexenylidene ethoxyethylcyanoacetate). Ultra-long UVA rays around 380–400nm penetrate deepest and drive pigmentation and photoaging, yet most filters cover them poorly — this is the first widely available filter designed specifically for that gap. Around it sits a genuinely sophisticated filter system: Tinosorb S, Uvinul T150, avobenzone, Mexoryl XL and Mexoryl SX, plus vitamin E as antioxidant support. The texture is the other half of the appeal — a genuinely invisible, weightless fluid with no white cast, which makes it realistic to wear daily and on deeper skin tones. Two caveats worth naming. Alcohol denat sits high in the list, which gives the fast-drying finish but can feel drying or sting on reactive skin. And it contains fragrance, unnecessary in a product for sun-sensitive skin. Note too that these filters are approved in the EU but not the US, so availability varies. If you can get it and tolerate alcohol, it is close to state of the art.
