Xylitol — a natural sugar alcohol found in birch, corn, and berries. A hygroscopic moisturizer and prebiotic — supports the growth of beneficial bacteria on the skin (Lactobacillus), while simultaneously inhibiting harmful microorganisms. In INCI: Xylitol or Xylitylglucoside.
