Tucuma Butter
Tucuma Butter — a solid plant butter from the seeds of the Amazon palm Astrocaryum vulgare, traditionally used by indigenous peoples of the Amazon for skin and hair protection. Rich in lauric acid with pronounced protective properties.
What is it?
Astrocaryum Vulgare Seed Butter — a butter with a unique fatty acid profile, including a high content of lauric acid (also characteristic of coconut oil) alongside oleic acid. Mechanism: lauric acid gives the component a light texture upon application despite the solid consistency of the butter, as well as additional protective properties for the skin surface. The combination of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids forms a protective film that reduces moisture loss and protects against external irritants.
Butters and body balms, hair formulas (protection and nourishment), products based on Amazonian cosmetic tradition, anti-aging creams with a focus on protection.
