Tranexamic Acid
One of the new stars in the fight against hyperpigmentation — tranexamic acid blocks melanin at a different stage than vitamin C or arbutin, and is well tolerated even by sensitive skin. Effective against melasma and post-acne spots.
What is it?
Tranexamic acid (TXA) — a synthetic derivative of the amino acid lysine. Initially developed as an anticoagulant in medicine. In INCI: Tranexamic Acid. It blocks the interaction of plasmin with keratinocytes, reducing the release of arachidonic acid and stimulating melanocytes. The mechanism of action differs from tyrosinase inhibitors — it can synergistically combine with them.
Brightening active in targeted serums for melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation, and uneven skin tone. Especially effective for hormone-induced hyperpigmentation (melasma) — a problem where classic remedies are often insufficient.

Main Actions
Tranexamic acid works slower than acid brightening agents — noticeable results at 2–5% concentration appear after 8–12 weeks of regular use. Do not expect an instant effect — this is a marathon product for sustainable results.
