Snail Secretion Filtrate (SSF) — purified mucous secretion from snails Helix aspersa or Cryptomphalus aspersa. Contains: hyaluronic acid, allantoin (anti-inflammatory), glycoproteins, peptides (EGF-like growth factors), copper, zinc, vitamins A, C, E. Concentration in formulas — usually 1–95%. INCI name: Snail Secretion Filtrate or Helix/Cryptomphalus Aspersa Secretion Filtrate.
