What is it?

Saccharomyces Ferment (Lysate) — a filtrate or lysate of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae (baker's yeast) culture. Contains: beta-glucans (immunomodulators), amino acids, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, nucleotides, and minerals. Fermentation increases the bioavailability of components. In INCI: Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract or Saccharomyces Ferment.

Popular in K-beauty and Japanese cosmetics as a "fermented" ingredient for barrier strengthening, anti-aging, and restoration. Often found in essences and serums.

Key Benefits

Beta-glucans — immune support for the skin
Yeast beta-glucans activate Dectin-1 receptors in skin cells, stimulating protective mechanisms and accelerating healing.
B vitamin complex for renewal
Vitamins B1-B12 support cellular metabolism, collagen synthesis, and accelerate skin cell renewal.
Increased bioavailability through fermentation
The fermentation process breaks down molecules into smaller fragments — better penetration and absorption by the skin compared to native extracts.
