What is it?

Rosehip Oil (rosehip oil) is cold-pressed from the seeds of rosehip fruits. INCI: Rosa Canina Fruit Oil or Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil. Composition: 44–50% linoleic acid (omega-6), 22–33% alpha-linolenic (omega-3), 1–5% oleic, carotenoids (β-carotene → retinol), vitamin E. Color: from golden to dark orange. Unstable to oxidation — store in a dark place.

Night serums and oils for regeneration, scar correction and post-acne. Effective in combination with vitamin C and retinol. Suitable for all skin types including oily — thanks to linoleic acid.

Regeneration and scar reduction

Linoleic acid (omega-6) is a key component of skin ceramides. When deficient, the barrier becomes permeable, scars heal slowly. Rosehip oil restores linoleic levels in the skin, accelerates healing and reduces the visibility of acne and stretch mark scars.

Natural carotenoids and tone brightening

Βeta-carotene and other carotenoids in rosehip oil are partially converted to retinol in the skin. The effect of a gentle natural retinoid: regular use brightens post-acne pigmentation, evens out tone without sharp initial irritation.

Non-comedogenic hydration and anti-aging

Despite its oily texture, rosehip oil is non-comedogenic (index 1). Linoleic acid, on the contrary, helps with acne — omega-6 deficiency is associated with oilier sebum and clogged pores. Vitamin E and carotenoids protect against oxidative stress.

How to use rosehip oil

Apply at night — some carotenoids are photosensitizing. 2–3 drops on clean skin or mix with night cream. Not suitable for acne in the active phase (better to wait for healing). Shelf life after opening: 6–12 months — store in the refrigerator.
