Retinol
The gold standard of anti-aging care. A derivative of vitamin A that accelerates skin cell renewal, supports an even tone, and appearance of firmness. Requires gradual introduction into the routine.
What is it?
Retinol — a first-generation form of vitamin A. Various forms of retinoids are found in cosmetics: retinol, retinal (retinaldehyde), retinyl palmitate, hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR, granactive retinoid) — of varying strength and tolerance.
Primarily used in evening care — serums and creams. Start with low concentrations (0.025–0.1%), gradually increasing. Daytime SPF is essential.
