Olive Oil
The millennial beautifying agent — olive oil is rich in oleic acid and squalane, making it an excellent nourishing emollient. However, the high concentration of oleic acid means that it may be too heavy for oily and acne-prone skin.
What is it?
Olive oil (Olea Europaea Fruit Oil) — obtained from the fruits of the olive by cold pressing. In INCI: Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil. Composition: ~70–80% oleic acid (C18:1), ~10% palmitic (C16), ~8% linoleic (C18:2), ~0.5–1% squalane, polyphenols (hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein), and vitamin E.
A classic emollient and nourishing component in creams, masks, body, and hair products. In formulas — as a carrier oil and texture-enhancer. Extra virgin olive oil — also a standalone product for body and massage.

Main Actions
Studies show that oleic acid in high concentrations can disrupt the lipid barrier with regular application on healthy skin. For the face — especially oily or acne-prone — it is better to choose oils with lower oleic acid content: squalane, rosehip, jojoba.
