Marula Oil
Marula Oil — a light and fast-absorbing oil from Africa with a uniquely high content of oleic acid (70–78%). It moisturizes, protects against oxidative stress, and has antibacterial properties.
What is it?
Marula Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the marula fruit (Sclerocarya birrea), an African tree. INCI: Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil. Composition: 70–78% oleic acid (omega-9), 4–7% linoleic acid (omega-6), flavonoids (catechins, procyanidins), vitamin C in fresh oil. Non-comedogenic (index 3–4), but lighter than most oils due to the predominance of oleic acid.
Night oils and serums for moisturizing and nourishing the skin. Effective for dry and dehydrated skin. Suitable as a finishing oil in the "sandwich" method (under or over cream).
