Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate
Fragmented low molecular weight hyaluronic acid - penetrates significantly deeper than standard hyaluronate. Reaches the living layers of the epidermis, where it stimulates the body's own synthesis of HA and enhances hydration from within.
What is it?
Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate - sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, depolymerized to a molecular weight of <10 kDa (oligohyaluronate) or <5 kDa. Obtained by enzymatic (hyaluronidase) or chemical hydrolysis of standard Sodium Hyaluronate. Small MW → capable of penetrating through the stratum corneum (SC) to the epidermis and upper dermis. Unlike standard HA (MW ~1-2 MDa, remains on the surface) and cross-linked HA (remains in SC). Can interact with CD44 receptors on keratinocytes and fibroblasts → stimulates the body's own synthesis of HA.
Premium serums with HA of multi-molecular spectrum, anti-aging products for mature skin, ampoule concentrates for deep hydration, complex HA formulas.
Key Benefits
Suitable for
Main Actions
High MW HA (>500 kDa): remains on the surface, film-forming, instant smoothing. Mid MW HA (50–500 kDa): penetrates the stratum corneum, long-lasting hydration of SC. Low MW / Hydrolyzed HA (<10 kDa): living epidermis + upper dermis. Ultra-low (oligomeric <5 kDa): deepest penetration, strongest stimulation of CD44. Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer: retained in SC, long-lasting moisture depot. Each form has a unique niche - maximum effect when combined.
