What is it?
Hydrolyzed Lupine Protein (INCI: Hydrolyzed Lupine Protein) — hydrolysate of plant protein from lupine. Botanical source: Lupinus albus (white lupine) or Lupinus angustifolius. Composition: a mixture of peptides and amino acids MW 200-3000 Da. Amino acid profile: arginine (~15%), glutamine (~12%), lysine (~6%), glycine (~4%), proline (~4%), serine (~5%). Mechanism of action on skin: adsorption on the surface → formation of a protective layer → reduction of TEWL; peptides penetrate into SC → improvement of barrier function. Action on hair: binding with keratin, penetration into the cuticle → strengthening and restoring damaged hair.
