Key Benefits

Natural precursor to retinol (β-carotene)
Beta-carotene converts to retinol in the skin, supporting renewal and improving texture. A milder option for retinoid action without irritation.
Powerful antioxidant protection
Carotenoids neutralize free radicals and protect cell DNA from UV damage and oxidative stress.
Natural healthy tone
Carotenoids accumulate in the skin and provide it with a warm healthy tone — a natural "inner" tanning effect.

Carotenemia

Excessive consumption of carrots can give the skin a yellowish tint (carotenemia). In cosmetics, this is unlikely due to low concentrations, but carrot seed oil is concentrated and can stain — dilute it.
