Black Seed Oil
"A cure for everything except death" — this is how black seed was described by Ibn Sina. Thymoquinone in black seed oil is a powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent for skin with acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
What is it?
Black Seed Oil — cold-pressed oil from Nigella Sativa seeds (black cumin, black caraway). The unique component is thymoquinone (TQ, 0.4-2.5%), which has powerful anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and immunomodulatory properties. It also contains linoleic acid (50-60%) and oleic acid. In INCI: Nigella Sativa Seed Oil.
Used in products for acne-prone skin, atopic dermatitis and eczema products, soothing creams for sensitive skin, and scalp care products.

Main Actions
Black Seed Oil has a strong specific spicy aroma — not everyone likes it. In products, it is usually present in small concentrations or deodorized. If you are concerned about the smell — look for the deodorized version or products where it is not the main component.
