Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2
Thymulen4 — thymus peptide that restores the immune function of the skin. It stimulates thymosin-α1 receptors, restores Langerhans dendritic cells, and supports a healthy stress response. Particularly effective for photo-aged and immunosuppressed skin.
What is it?
Thymosin α-1 — a natural thymus hormone that regulates the differentiation and activity of T-lymphocytes and Langerhans cells (skin dendritic cells). The level of Tα1 decreases with age. Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 is a shortened acetylated analog of Tα1 that retains its receptor activity. Langerhans cells are the skin's "guard": they respond to UV, pathogens, and irritants. When they are depleted (stress, UV, age) — skin immunity is reduced. INCI: Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2. Effective concentration: 3–5 ppm.
Anti-aging and anti-stress formulas. Particularly valuable in combinations with UV filters (restoration after UV immunosuppression) and peptides for mature skin.

Main Actions
The skin has its own neuroimmune system — a network of Langerhans cells, mast cells, and nerve fibers. This system regulates inflammation, regeneration, and aging. Thymulen4 (Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2) is one of the first cosmetic ingredients that specifically targets this system. The combination with neuropeptides (Calmosensine, Argireline) provides a comprehensive neurocosmetic effect.
